Faith Mission ordains 100 ministers to pilot church affairs
.Confers Sholoye as Iya Aladura worldwide
In a quest to move the Faith Mission Cherubim and Seraphim Church to greater heights of glory, 100 members of the church were conferred with the ecclesiastical title having met the requirements as part of the workforce to pilot the affairs of the church.
The ordained ministers were: Iya Aladura General Cherubim and Seraph Worldwide, Dr Oluwaseye Yomi Sholoye; Baba Aladura Faith Mission Church Cherubim and Seraph Worldwide, Isaac Adegbenro, Deputy Baba Aladura, Ngbodi Friday and Vice Baba Aladura, Akinwande Philip and others.
Speaking during the first convention and sixth ordination exercise in 36 years of the church, the founder of New Seraph Church and newly appointed Iya Aladura General Cherubim and Seraph Worldwide, Dr Yomi Sholeye, commended Cherubim and Seraph church worldwide for deeming it fit to confer her with the position. “ New members were due to the rate at which the church is fast growing, making the task enormous.”
She urged the ordained to see their appointment as a sacrifice, which requires huge expectations from people.
“Respect and love build the house. I can’t do it alone, the task is enormous. We have to come together to join forces together to make the world a better place. If we work together and put Christ before us, I’m sure we are going to achieve all our prospects.”
She added that the ordination would impact the church positively.
“Some people are elected into these positions to appreciate their tireless effort on the part of Christ. We want to let those who work for God to know that we see and appreciate their work. As we are putting them into positions more is expected from them. They need to work more than they are doing before and we believe that God will assist them to deliver their duties.
Sholoye advised those elected into positions to be good ambassadors of Christ. “They should be known as the upright, truthful person in the society. Likewise, they should be void of any inadequacy.”
The Founder and President of Faith Mission Church World Wide, Dr Marian Adeleye said the event is the fifth in the series in the 36 years of the church, noting that investiture in faith mission is sacred.
“With a gladsome mind, we celebrate deserving members of his great church that were conferred with ecclesiastical titles having met all the requirements.”
She said the theme of the event ‘Motivating Others to Serve is very apt given realigning the parishes pan Nigeria to reach out to the lost souls in the society. “We must serve by reaching out to brothers and sisters for the promise of His salvation.”
She commended members of the planning committee that spent three months impacting knowledge of the ordained by holding a series of meetings.
She congratulated the newly ordained members, urging them to move the Church to a greater height.”
